I am gald to see this lying, incompetent and corrupt government hitting the wall. Let it go.Praguetoryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16520923731691837948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8888848804347928571.post-2791539199119406742007-11-26T12:13:00.000+00:002007-11-26T12:13:00.000+00:00On education, the floor targets have reduced under...On education, the floor targets have reduced underperforming schools - in the government's current definition - from 1600 to 670 (half to a quarter of secondaries) and had a similar impact on primaries. Teaching has greatly improved, as has teacher training and pay. Teaching assistants are greatly increased. Fees have given universities stability without impacting on student numbers. FE colleges are significantly better. On other areas, overall crime is significantly down; there are more police and PCSOs on the beat. My point is the government should not ignore them.Conor Ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13457628816008082005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8888848804347928571.post-2479222287805240552007-11-26T12:04:00.000+00:002007-11-26T12:04:00.000+00:00I'd be interested to hear your opinion of what are...I'd be interested to hear your opinion of what are the biggest "policy delivery successes" of recent years. It's one area I think TB fell down on, he was so busy fighting the next battle that we've never had a good sense of what the successes were.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
