Targeted action works
There are plenty of sceptics about targeted action and about the ability of government to improve secondary school standards. But the latest ethnic minority achievement data are further proof of the impact of both, when implemented effectively. Results for Black Caribbean and Black African pupils have continued to improve far faster than the result of the school population.
