Hobson's Choice
To see a fine production of Hobson's Choice in Bath last night, the Salford-based farce about a bootseller - played with gusto by John Savident(pictured) - and his three feisty daughters. Although not as good as David Lean's 1954 movie, this Chichester Festival Theatre touring production is an enjoyable farce, with a great - though occasionally over-caricatured - cast and a good evening's entertainment.
